In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning is an award-winning animated short film I created to meditate on solitude, nostalgia, and introspection. Rather than following a traditional narrative, I approached the film as a visual poem that captures fleeting emotions through abstract animation and atmospheric storytelling. Inspired by the melancholic jazz standard of the same name, the film reflects on quiet moments of longing, weaving together light, texture, and movement to evoke a dreamlike contemplation.

Nobel Planta

Noble Planta is a New Yorker documentary directed by Matthew Beck that explores the delicate balance between love, commitment, and resilience. The film follows Ched Markovic and his wife, Maria, who have been running a small plant shop in Manhattan for over forty years. While their plants continue to thrive, their marriage faces its challenges. With animation direction by Amanda Bonaiuto, the film weaves together live-action and animation to capture the nuances of this sometimes strained relationship. As an animator on the project, I contributed to bringing visual depth and emotional texture to the storytelling, enhancing the film’s contemplative and intimate tone.
